This weird game seems broken. No button, no cross, no point, no shotgun!

Laser Slice (or Laser Slice Attacks) is a game in Loss of Control. It is created from putting Tim Elfman's name into the GAME DESIGN slot.

Story[]

After Game starts singing against his will, the User must use the three names at their disposal to free him. The only open slot is GAME DESIGN, and plugging each name in will cause a minigame to appear. These game cannot be played however, and require alternate solutions.

Laser Slice is the game unlocked when using Tim Elfman's name. It has the player attempt to line up five spaceships in a row in order to fill a meter shaped like a door. If the spaceships reach too high, a large spaceship descends on the white house and slices it in half, indicating a game over, before the game resets. The screen also retains the snow effect and gothic background from earlier.

You first need to use the spaceship's laser to cut the unscrewed board in half. Then, use the molasses from Hit the Road to make the board pieces sticky (alternatively, you could make the whole board sticky and then slice it). Each piece sticks onto the two empty panels in the lower part of the game window. These act as arrows that move the pieces, allowing you to line them up properly. After a few lines are made, the door opens and releases a key.

Trivia[]

  • This game is directly based on Tetris.
  • The title "Laser Slice Attacks" and the general theme of aliens attacking is a reference to the film Mars Attacks!, which Tim Burton and Danny Elfman both worked on.
  • This is the only "game" in There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension you can technically play in the intended way without it breaking, although you do need to fix it first.
